Funding programs that collectively touch thousands of low-income and minority students with tutoring, SAT/ACT prep, college admission coaching, in-home counseling, and internship opportunities.
SALAM has been a pioneer in reaching out to the interfaith and civic community. It is a multi-ethnic place of worship, open for people of all faiths to visit and use its educational facilities and services.
Promoting respect for all faiths and the protection of religious freedom for all members of the community, by fostering understanding and hosting programs and events.
Annual pilgrimage event hosted by Northern California Japanese American Citizens League to reflect on the injustices and prejudices faced during WWII and beyond.
NGO in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, in pursuit of a violence-free society.
Catwalk for a Cause raises funds to help two disadvantaged Filipino groups—orphaned street children in the Manila and Filipina breast cancer patients of San Francisco.
Each year, members across the community are invited to share this large evening meal that breaks the fast during the month of Ramadan, with interfaith prayer.
Cultivating relationships of diversity between the East and West, through events, academic partnerships, and diplomatic ties.
