We are looking for a Senior Chief Principal for the Organization Change Management (OCM) practice to join our Sacramento based team. All qualified candidates should apply online.

The Senior Chief Principal for Organization Change Consulting is a mission critical role to achieving business goals and objectives for Delegata and its clients. This senior-level leader oversees the Organization Change Management (OCM) practice for Delegata and guides the OCM team to influence client business and technical teams to implement effective and efficient operations through solutions that meet modern business needs for flexibility, agility, and reusability of services. Interacting with people at all levels of the organization, the Senior Chief Principal of Organization Change Management must be able to bridge culture gaps and facilitate human adoption of change. Experience aligning visions and strategic plans with executive dashboards and targeted communications plans is necessary in this role. Individuals who exhibit strong leadership qualities to lead Delegata’s OCM practice forward, and who are articulate and able to use industry standards in ways that help organizations achieve enhanced performance capabilities will excel in this role.

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to:

  • Well-versed in and able to apply relevant and appropriate Organizational Change Management strategies
  • Successfully develops partnerships with senior level client personnel to enhance strategic targets
  • Trains executives on the responsibilities of project sponsorship and how to successfully transfer applied knowledge of organizational change principles into organizational culture
  • Coaches and mentors leaders and managers in the art of decision making
  • Provides subject matter expertise to business unit leaders in the areas of leadership, organization effectiveness, enterprise architecture, building organizational capability, and human capital processes to enable the sustainable achievement of business results
  • Acts as a project sponsor and business architect for projects
  • Develops decision matrices that engage leaders and managers and guide them to make decisions at the appropriate level and time
  • Leads redesign and re-engineering efforts that positively impact the organization
  • Direct the work of others, including direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Leverages standards, best practices and processes for business architects and business analysts functions
  • Assesses and provides evaluations for large-scale IT projects using industry standards such as IEEE, ACM, SIAM, ANSI, ISO and other globally recognized industry standards
  • Advises clients in the selection of solutions, methodologies, best practices and frameworks best suited for their present readiness
  • Integrates Organization Change Management in all phases of projects from design through build, test, implementation and post implementation
  • Effectively communicates among highly political stakeholders in ways that generate trust and facilitate of delivery business solutions that produce results
  • Presents current and future architectures using roadmaps and patterns to help leaders select approaches to realize their vision
  • Ensures consistency and integration of client architectures with appropriate authority, vision, and leadership
  • Facilitates governance, open communication and fact-based decision making
  • Advises senior managers on emerging trends and their impact on Business Process Reengineering
  • Documents business architecture efficiently and in ways that facilitate implementation of solutions
  • Reviews existing plans, maps business processes to the new system functions, and identifies risk and workload impact of potential alternative processes and changes
  • Provides recommendations of areas of improvement based on industry standards and best practices for similar systems, and/or that would enhance the overall end user experience
  • Incorporates “lessons learned” into recommendations for business process improvements
  • Ability to flex easily between the big picture and detailed technical issues and discussions
  • Collaborates with quality teams to define and drive continuous improvement
  • Coaches, mentors and trains the internal OCM organization and external clients to perform
  • Demonstrates Delegata’s vision and values in a way that enhances its reputation and ability to attract new clients
  • Leverages the OCM practice team members in a manner that provides opportunities for them to grow professionally while enhancing results for clients

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Possesses knowledge of organizational and cultural change management theories, research and best practices
  • Proven ability to put organization change theory, models, and tools into practice in an effective manner
  • At least ten (10) years of experience leading organizational change management strategy, planning, development, and delivery associated with enterprise changes of structure, systems or processes
  • Proven experience in at least four relevant cases where OCM principles and practices were applied for a complete lifecycle project
  • At least six (6) years of experience defining enterprise and/or organization vision and strategy documentation collaboratively with client leader(s)
  • Possesses knowledge and skills related to methodology(ies) for delivering OCM capability
  • Experience in assessing cultural change readiness, developing change management plans, and implementing large-scale cultural shifts
  • Experience in developing and executing communication, training, and transition management plans
  • Excels in developing communications to varying audiences in support of change management
  • Develops and deploys needs assessments and establish training programs to address needs
  • Experience in leading business areas and project teams to identify and define business impacts and implement strategies for process and system changes
  • Experience in meeting planning, facilitation, and follow-up
  • Possesses high level of acumen in interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Highly skilled in communicating complex subject matter to multiple levels of recipients
  • Proficiency in business and technical writing

Desired Qualifications:

  • More than ten (10) years of experience using formal organizational change management tools (e.g., competency profiles, roadmaps, models, etc.) effectively
  • A working knowledge of business architecture and process engineering and improvement
  • Ability to adapt and flourish in fluid and fast-paced environments and maintain decision making and critical thinking abilities in an effort to drive results
  • Solves problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity and working within established policies and procedures

Education, Certification, Training & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Organizational Behavior or related discipline from a recognized/accredited college or university, or commensurate experience
  • Organizational Change Management Professional (Prosci) Certification
